Where is Waldo? Costume
A classic character from one of my favorite books is a nice idea for a costume! Really easy and comfortable this costume is compound by a stripped t-shirt or sweater in the colors red and white, an also red and white hood and blue pants! Nice big black framed glasses will give the final touch for the costume!
This famous game can be the inspiration for a really nice costume! You will only need white clothes and some pieces of fabric in the colors of the game (blue, yellow, red, green). Cut the fabric in circles of same size and sew them on the clothes following the game pattern. If you have the game at home you can use the spinner as an ornament for the head!
Mario and Luigi Costume
Normal clothes (denim overalls, green/red t-shirt, green/red caps and black shoes) and a nice fake mustache. This is what you need to transform anyone in Mario or Luigi, the famous heroes from the video games. You can apply the initial of the characters on their cap and big yellow buttons on the overalls to make the costume more similar to the original.
Lego Piece Costume
Who doesn’t love Lego? This is a perfect and very cheap costume to make! You will need a big paper box (the size will depend on the size of the person), six round plastic pots, strong glue and spray paint on the color you want! Make 3 holes on the paper box (one for head and two for arms), remove the bottom part of the box leaving it open for the legs. Glue the plastic pots on two lines of 3 like the original pieces and apply paint all over the box! Your costume is ready!
Jelly Belly Beans Bag Costume
This costume is one of the most creative and funny I have ever seen! You can dress yourself or your kids as Jelly beans bag using some simple materials and a lot of oxygen! A big transparent plastic bag, some colorful balloons and a red ribbon is what you need to this costume. Make two holes on the bag for the arms and two for the legs. Wear the bag as a normal cloth, blow the balloons in a small size and fill the bag with them. Tie the top of the plastic with a red ribbon around the neck and you are ready! You can also print a big label to put on the front of the bag!
Bubble Bath Costume
Using the same material from the previous one, the bubble bath costume is made with white balloons! Dress yourself in white clothes and attach white balloons in different sizes all over your body! To complete the costume you can use a cap shower and some rubber ducks!
